~Little Sisters of The Poor~

Little Sisters of The Poor is a home for those elderly..It is located at Cheras. Wow, this is my very first time to the home for elderly!!!!Kinda excited!!whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2 buses from HFK.....80 people participate in that trip and very suprisingly----they were mostly youth!!!!!!!how great right?! 1 thing I would say about HFK youth is that they are really very active and involve in church.=) Hm.....but not for the Undergrads from UKM. Just only 6 of us took part in that trip...is just only 7.5% out of 100%!!!Oh crap, what am I doing???I am calculating the percentage!!!!

Little Sisters of The Poor started by Jean Jugan, she comes from a poor family. One day, she saw an elderly by the roadside and she brought the elderly back to her home. she looks after the old person well. This spirit is now continue in all parts of the world. I feel so touching during the video session!!Yea, people should look at things in different perspectives and you will feel more happy...~~~~~~~

We visited the home and find it very nicely managed and.......I feel the peace in my inner sense..=) After the short 'look around session', we had lunch and that is the fellowship between us and some of the HFK parishioners. Really a great time...Before going back, we actually went to the small gift shop located in one of the corner of the home. The aunty in charge told me that some of the souvenirs were done by the volunteers and some made by the elderly itself!!!!!I really feel great and really had a wonderful experience.... Thank you to all the members of the vocation team of HFK to come out with this great outing!!!=)
